Welcome to GhostWriters Ink. ("we," "us," or "our"). These Terms and Conditions govern your use of our website www.ghostwriters.ink and our ghostwriting and book editing services (the “Services”). By accessing or using our website, you agree to be bound by these Terms and Conditions. If you do not agree to these Terms, you may not use our Services.

1. Services
We provide ghostwriting, editing, and book-related consulting services (collectively referred to as the “Services”). By using our Services, you agree to the terms set out herein.

1.1 Ghostwriting Services
We offer custom ghostwriting services for individuals or businesses who wish to produce written content, including but not limited to books, articles, blog posts, and other works.

1.2 Editing Services
Our editing services include manuscript evaluation, developmental editing, copy editing, and proofreading. These services are intended to improve the clarity, accuracy, and readability of your written work.

1.3 Consultation Services
We may offer consultation services related to writing, publishing, or marketing a written work. These consultations do not guarantee any specific outcome, such as publishing success.

2. Client Responsibilities
2.1 Ownership of Materials
You represent and warrant that any materials, ideas, or information you provide to us for the Services are your own or you have permission to use them. You also warrant that the materials you provide do not infringe upon any third-party intellectual property rights, violate any laws, or contain any defamatory content.

2.2 Timely Communication
You agree to provide all necessary materials, feedback, and approvals in a timely manner in order for us to deliver the Services. Delays in providing necessary information may result in delays to the project timeline.

3. Payment Terms
3.1 Fees
Our fees for Services are determined based on the scope of the project and will be communicated to you in writing before the start of the project. A deposit may be required before work begins.

3.2 Payment Schedule
You agree to pay for the Services in accordance with the payment schedule outlined in our agreement. Payment may be made via credit card, PayPal, bank transfer, or other approved methods. Failure to make payments on time may result in suspension of Services.

3.3 No Refunds

Due to the personalized and custom nature of our ghostwriting and editing services, all payments are non-refundable. Once a project has commenced and payment has been made, you will not be eligible for a refund, either in full or in part, for any reason. 

We encourage clients to thoroughly review project details and communicate any concerns prior to the start of work to ensure satisfaction with the final outcome.

4. Confidentiality
We are committed to maintaining the confidentiality of any personal, proprietary, or creative information you share with us during the course of the project. We will not share your materials with third parties without your explicit permission, except as required by law or to fulfill the Services.

5. Intellectual Property
5.1 Ghostwritten Work
Upon full payment for ghostwriting services, all intellectual property rights to the written work, including copyright, will be transferred to you unless otherwise agreed in writing. We will have no further claim to ownership of the work once payment has been completed.

5.2 Edited Work
You retain full ownership of your original work when we perform editing services. We do not claim any rights to the edited version of your work.

6. Revisions
We offer a specified number of revisions (as outlined in the Service Agreement) at no additional charge. Additional revisions beyond this allowance will incur extra fees. Revisions must be requested within 6 months of receiving the final draft.

7. Deadlines and Timelines
While we strive to meet agreed-upon deadlines, we cannot guarantee delivery by a specific date due to unforeseen circumstances, such as client delays or other external factors. We will notify you as soon as possible if a delay is anticipated.

8. Dispute Resolution
In the event of any dispute arising from these Terms or the Services, both parties agree to attempt to resolve the issue through good-faith negotiations. If the dispute cannot be resolved amicably, it will be submitted to mediation or arbitration in accordance with the laws of England and Wales.

9. Limitation of Liability
To the fullest extent permitted by law, we shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, including but not limited to loss of profits, data, or use, arising from your use of our Services. Our total liability for any claim related to the Services shall not exceed the total fees paid by you for the specific project.

10. Indemnification
You agree to indemnify and hold harmless GhostWriters Ink. and its employees, contractors, and affiliates from any claims, losses, or damages arising from your breach of these Terms, including but not limited to claims related to intellectual property infringement, defamation, or violation of any laws.

11. Termination
Either party may terminate the project at any time by providing written notice to the other party. Upon termination, you will be responsible for payment of all Services rendered up until the date of termination. We reserve the right to terminate our relationship with you if you fail to adhere to these Terms.

12. Governing Law
These Terms shall be governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of England and Wales, without regard to its conflict of law principles.

13. Changes to Terms
We reserve the right to update or modify these Terms at any time. Changes will be effective immediately upon posting on our website. Your continued use of our Services after any such changes constitutes your acceptance of the new Terms.
